Taking Care Portland: Community Support for Cancer Care
Community massage therapy • group acupuncture
mindful movement • live sound therapy • food as medicine
Sunday, October 13th at TaborSpace in southeast Portland, Oregon
A day of community, education and healing.
Taking Care Portland is building a long-term perspective and collaborative model for cancer survivorship. Quarterly, volunteer-driven events in the Portland, Oregon community feature clothing-on massage therapy and bodywork, group acupuncture, live sound therapy and body-mind awareness. Taking Care believes in a food as medicine approach. Join us beautiful food and locally sourced, organic ingredients and I talk by a local cancer specialist.
Taking Care Portland is working towards non-profit status with the intention of taking cancer survivorship to a national platform. Help us build a long-term, community perspective on cancer care. All those living with cancer, survivors of cancer, friends, co-workers, family, educators, researchers and the entire caregiving community are most welcome to attend.
